Giant Eagle Site Consolidation & CMS

The existing online shopping experience lacks cohesive and impactful value messaging, resulting in a fragmented marketing approach across different platforms. Additionally, the separation between the online shopping platform and the marketing platform creates disjointed user experiences and inefficiencies.

We implemented a comprehensive solution by developing new interchangeable components for the site that utilize DatoCMS to create flexible components for marketing messaging, allowing for adaptable content that effectively communicates story telling and value propositions. We consolidated the online shopping website and marketing website into a single unified site, merging functionalities to provide a seamless and integrated experience for users.

Integrated Banner with Product Carousel

This feature will allow for a visually appealing and interactive display of multiple products or offers within a single banner space. The carousel functionality enables users to view a variety of products or promotions by scrolling through the banner, offering a more engaging and immersive experience.

Lightning Deals

A dedicated section or feature, such as "Daily Eagle Deals," prominently displayed on the website or app interface. This section will showcase time-sensitive promotions and limited-time offers, providing customers with easy access to these deals. Implement a countdown timer or clear indication of the limited availability to create a sense of urgency and encourage immediate action.

Mini Savings Hub

This hub will feature a curated collection of sales linked to sales categories and articles, allowing users to access deals related to the content they engage with. Additionally, create a "Launch Pad" directly linking users from articles to associated sales or promotions, providing a seamless transition from content consumption to potential purchases.

Featured Cards

These cards will highlight select seasonal products or collections, providing users with direct access to curated landing pages showcasing a variety of relevant seasonal items. Ensures these landing pages are visually appealing, informative, and user-friendly, effectively promoting and categorizing seasonal products.

Default Cards

Designed to accommodate various content types including recipes, articles, and links to landing pages. These cards, while less prominent, offer a versatile format suitable for inclusion within carousels or less obtrusive sections of the platform. They provide ample space to display content, ensuring that recipes, articles, and promotional links are easily accessible to users without overwhelming the interface.

Interchangeable Carousels

Controlled by DatoCMS, allows for seamless transitions between different tile types including product tiles, default cards, coupon tiles, and other promotional offers. Enables customization of carousel headers directly within DatoCMS to provide flexibility in highlighting specific content themes or promotions.
