Giant Eagle - Scan Pay Go

Traditional in-store shopping experiences can be time-consuming and cumbersome, leading to inconvenience for shoppers who seek a more efficient and streamlined process.

We introduced the "Scan Pay Go" feature within the Giant Eagle App, enabling users to enhance their shopping experience by leveraging their personal devices. This feature amalgamates various functionalities to simplify and expedite the shopping process.

With Scan Pay Go, shoppers can save time, navigate the store efficiently, and conveniently manage their purchases from start to finish.

Features

With the scan pay go features, grocers can:

Use Geolocation upon entering a store to pull an inventory of products that are available within that exact store location

Users can effortlessly add items to their cart, using the barcode scanner

Sync their shopping list, and check off items from their list upon scanning

PLU search for produce items

Coupon clipping that is applied to items they scan into their cart

Access product information swiftly, such as aisle location

Monitoring of restricted items like alcohol, where the grocer would need to provide proof of age before exiting the store
